Cadet Choir

Singers will be exploring more pre-reading concepts through Cadet this spring, like recognizing, high and low, beat vs. words, and some iconic reading. Be sure your singer uses the bathroom before class when possible. As always, families are welcome to sit in during class, but please make sure any siblings are not a distraction to our class.
Please note, our final class will be May 9th. Information is coming soon about how to register for the fall.
If your singer is entering 1st grade, they will be moving up to our Canto choir next year!
SummerTunes!
(July 29-August 2) 9:00-11:30am
Cadet singers who are currently in kindergarten can register to be a part of our SummerTunes camp the week of July 29-August 2nd this Summer! We would love to have all of our Cadet friends who have completed Kindergarten (after the 2023-2024 school year) at Camp with us!
Camp will run from 9:00-11:00 Monday through Friday, with a final performance on Friday evening (August 2nd). You can sign your signer up here: Summer Camp Registration — Heartland Youth Choir.

WorldSongs Concert:
Cadet Choir does not participate in this concert, but you are welcome and encouraged to attend to support the older singers in HYC. The concert is a little over an hour and is a great introduction to live music concerts for little ones!
When: May 12, 4:00pm
Where: Sheslow Auditorium at Drake University (2507 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
